Jason Rivers (dermatologist)

Jason Rivers, MD, is a Canadian dermatologist and the founder of Riversol Skin Care Inc.

For seven years, he was director of the Canadian Dermatology Association’s (CDA) National Sun Awareness Program.[1] Rivers now serves as the CDA’s British Columbia Regional Director.[2] He is also past Director of CDA’s Sunscreen Education Program.

Rivers is a recipient of the Canadian Dermatology Association’s President’s Cup,[3] and the American Academy of Dermatology’s Gold Triangle Award. Rivers has been recognized by his peers as one of Canada’s Best Doctors.[4] He is the Associate Editor of The Skin Therapy Letter,[5] is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery,[6] and is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology,[7] and the British Journal of Dermatology[8]

Rivers is a staff member at the British Columbia Cancer Agency, Vancouver General Hospital and St. Paul’s Hospital.[9] He is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine,[10] and was their Program Director for Dermatology for six years.[11]
